Are any of you ladies getting one done before your special day? I have an appointment tomorrow and I’m so nervous, first time waxer here! Also, I’m now ONE WEEK away from my wedding! Eeeeeeek!

So they have different formulas for body, face, and the more sensitive nether regions haha. They also have a men's strength formula which can be used on women for those of us who have hair that is thicker and more stubborn. I began with the starter pack and then purchased more of what I needed as I went. My goal is to be hair free on my legs, underarms, and bikini area. So far I've seen a major reduction in hair growth in all of those places. I'd say I've got about 25% left and that is getting taken care of! It takes a while and serious consistent use but it does work! The massive amount of positive reviews are what attracted me and they have great help tips and customer support when you contact them with the "help it's not working" cry haha! They gave me some things to try which really helped accelerate the pace.

I’m looking into this too!! Most hair removers I use don’t even work that well so I’ve been looking for one.

I used to get them! I flinch when getting them but it’s quick and the initial shock of it doesn’t linger. I highly recommend going to a place that uses hard wax rather than strip wax (European wax center would be perfect if you have one by you). The hard wax doesn’t stick to the skin so it doesn’t hurt has much. I switch to laser so I don’t have to bother with it anymore. It’s pricey, but in the long run I think I end up saving money rather than constantly paying for waxing. It’s also such a smoother finish in my opinion.

I will say it’s so much faster getting it done professionally, but I’d rather save the money. The warmer I use is called Gigi, and the wax is Cirépil Blue. I got both on amazon after a friend recommended it to me in August, and I still have plenty of wax.

I just got my 1st one 2 weeks ago going again in 3 weeks before my wedding... I was super nervous but it’s quick n it is quite painful I flinched every time... the process takes about 20 mins ... I did sugaring... I heard it was less painful. I started seeing hair grow back about 1 and half later... just exfoliate. The outcome was nice though.

I recently started going to European Wax Center and I love it! My technician was so nice and it honestly didn’t hurt nearly as much as I expected. Some spots don’t hurt as all and even the worst spots are maybe a 2 or 3 out of 10 on the pain scale (though I know pain tolerance is different for everyone). I’ve been impressed with how long it lasts, too.

I get mine done every 5 weeks or so. I say, no caffiene that day and advil an hour or so before your appointment.

It will hurt but i like it better than shaving.

I've been contemplating getting one done for a long time now, I'm just such a chicken. I get my eyebrows done and it's definitely gotten less painful over the years but I don't know if this would ever become less painful, lol.

IT HURTS! Especially the first time. But the pain is only seconds long. The reward is weeks long.
Take your cellphone in with you. Try to focus on texting, wedding planning, WW forums...😉 If you have something else to focus on, it helps. Don’t watch her rip the strips off. 😣

I started doing them a few months ago. I knew I wanted to do it for the wedding and a boudoir shoot and I didn’t want my first time to be right before either of those things. I love them and they get WAY easy as long as your consistent.

That’s exactly where I’m going! First time waxers get 50% off so I thought I might as well!

My best friend is coming with me, though I hope my lady strikes conversation. If not, my BF surely will keep my mind preoccupied 😂

Make sure you have a knowledgeable person!! Ask ahead of time. Once I ended up with a newbie, she left me with huge, purple bruises for two weeks. It hurt to walk and I definitely couldn't wear a swimsuit. So I'm definitely not trying again before my wedding, unless I find someone I trust. I'm in a new state and just don't want to chance it. I hope you have a great experience and am sure you will!!

Amazon! The warmer is called Gigi and the wax is Cirépil Blue. So worth the money upfront: I bought it in August and still have so much wax left!
