Can your seamstress sew a bra into your gown? Would adding some boning help? What does the neckline and back of your gown look like?

I am a 40 triple D. I went to a specialty bra store. I am also getting double sided fashion tape to tape in bra.

I get my bras from bare necessities. They have a wide range of sizes. They have strapless as well.

Do you have any specialty bra shops in your general vicinity? If you do, I would go and get properly measured and see what they recommend. I went to it and found I had been wearing the wrong size. I found the one in our area as it was next to the bridal shop my sister got her wedding dress at. If you don’t have one, call your bridal shop and ask for recommendations. Torrid or Lane Bryant would be my next recommendation.

I would definitely go a to a specialty lingerie shop. They will have things in stock chain shops won't. You can also ask the bridal shop you brought the dress from. My bridal shop recommended a place. I ended up getting a strapless bustier. My seamstress fitted it with my dress and marked where the bustier needs to be trimmed and cut. I have my fitting in 2 weeks so we'll see how it comes out.

42H girl here. I bought a strapless bra from Lane Bryant and it surprises me every time I wear it. Just make sure you get one that has the like sticky line of plastic gel that keeps it from slipping down. If you know what I mean.

Another vote for Bare Necessities! I've bought many bras from there and they have great customer service.

Not sure where you're located but if you're looking for an in-person experience, I've also had good luck at Rigby and Peller.

Nordstrom’s has large bras but I’m a 36H. For the sake of comfort, my tailor sewed in cups for me. I have a corset back so it works out. Bras are the death of me. If I don’t have to wear it, I won’t.

Transgender man here who used to be a DD prior to chest surgery.

My best friend uses boob tape.

Here is an article that ranked the best one for larger cups.

So I found one at a local shop. Had my fitting today and I hate the way it looks under my dress.. it doesnt lay flat against my skin, the cups were overflowing but the next size the girls were swimming. Super bummed but Im going to keep looking.

You can try JCPenney, Macy's or Bloomingdales. They tend to have all sizes.

Lane Bryant is a good, I didn't think about that. That is a good idea ladies. You may want to try that first then try JCPenney's, Macy's, or Bloomingdales.

That's a good idea!!! With my boobs being so big, I didn't consider sewn in cups. How does it feel? 42 I here...I hate wearing bras UGH!!! I might consider that once I go dress shopping.
