Bridal dinner

Has anyone had or is having like a “meet & greet” for their bridal party? Me and my fiancé thought it would be nice to get our bridesmaids, Groomsmens, Hostess & parents together for dinner & fun

We didn't have one, but I don't see why not!

Ok I just didn’t know if I was being extra or not lol. But I think it’ll be nice for everyone to mingle

We didn’t have one. As long as you’re understanding that some may not make it, I think it’s fine.

I think that sounds like a lovely idea, go for it! I'd want to do that but our bridal party is split between a bunch of states.

Yeah that’s the only downside. 1 of my bridesmaids lives out of state. I really should’ve did it when she came home for her dress fitting but she said there is always FaceTime lol

I think that sounds like a great idea! I wish I could do that but all of our groomsmen live in different states. The bridesmaids will all meet at my shower probably.

My best friend did something like this for her wedding. What they did was have everyone over to one of the hotel room for pre-rehersal drinks and snacks. It was super nice and a casual way to get to know everyone. It also had the added benefit of everyone being on time to the rehearsal because we all went together!

I was MOH for my sisters wedding and we did this because she had met her bridesmaids from several different times in her life (she had 5 bridesmaids) I planned a simple dinner two days before the wedding so everyone could get to know each other it was super fun and a great icebreaker before the rehearsal.

We didn't. I did start a group chat when I got engaged and had them introduce and mingle thru that.

I don’t have a bridal party, but I’ve been to bridal party meet and greets. I think they’re very nice to have. Especially for the bridesmaids who will probably have to work together for the shower and whatnot, it’s really helpful so they can exchange numbers and at least have a face to put with a name. It can be something as simple as pizza at your house or meeting at a local bar. Definitely don’t need to make a big to-do about it.

We didn't, but it's a cute idea to offer a dinner for everyone! In our case, it wouldn't work because everyone is scattered cross the country.

Me and my fiancé just picked a restaurant with a nice bar and has good food for everyone to mingle. Everyone is paying for there own food considering it’s not the rehearsal dinner but it’s still a fun idea for everyone to get to know each other
