I think it’s beautiful! It’s definitely more casual in my book for a wedding but everyone’s different and if you aren’t wanting to be all out as a bride, that’s up to you! It seems like it could be a good reception dress if you went that way but either way it’s up to you and what is best for your wedding and what you feel most beautiful and comfortable in!!

It is not ballgown and tuxedo formal. Which some people think necessary. But neither are any of the bare and sexy or body hugging cuts so many people wear, or the mermaid gowns that hug the body all the way down to below the knee, or any shorter tea length, or short dress. It is of an elegant cut and line, a romantic ( detailed with soft design and embellishment) lace fabric, multilayer, floor length. So perfect for any less formal than white tie or black tie occasion. Men would be in suits, to match formality. And very dressy, semi-formal, and great for day or evening. I think your family envisions a more formal wedding than you do. I think it is an excellent choice.

I looked at this dress before getting the one! It’s stunning and I think is definitely bridal enough. I ended up deciding I didn’t want sleeves.

Try not to let other people's ideas pressure you into settling for a dress you don't really want. If you love it and can't get it out of your head, then it's your dress!
(btw, I think it's lovely! And I also think a lot of "traditional" dresses are ugly, lol)

It’s very boho, and beautiful. If you love it, go for it! I picture this in a field or even a beachy setting. What’s your wedding vibe? Your dress should match your theme/venue. If it’s not too expensive, keep it for a bridal event like your shower or engagement photos

Definitely not a traditional gown but it’s absolutely gorgeous and you don’t have to be traditional. It’s your day so if you love it you should wear it. It’s beautiful!

Girl - i've worked in a bridal store for 2 years now, and this is totally very bridal. Champagne underlays (and blush!) are very in right now, and this dress still has ivory and very romantic. Very modern, and very bridal

I definitely think that is bridal! And it’s absolutely stunning!!

I think it depends on the vibe of your wedding. I think this dress with a veil would be plenty bridal, and for an outdoor, boho, or more casual wedding you probably don't even need a veil and could just do a flower crown or bridal hair piece.

If you needed something a little "extra" you could consider a belt as well. I am not typically a fan of belts (I think they usually look a bit tacky) but a simple sash belt or little jeweled belt would add an extra element of detail that would help this really pop as a bridal gown.

Its beautiful! And its YOUR day, whatever you feel great in and fall in love with is what you should get!
