Bridal Entrance Music

Candace, on October 31, 2018 at 1:39 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3

Hello! I am having a piano and cellist at my wedding, and I can't narrow down my processional music. The walk down our aisle is less than a minute. Songs I like include Claire de Lune, Arabesque, Theme from Paganini, but open to others. My grandfather is the pianist. Smiley smile

Prelude - Bach Cello Suite 1 - prelude

Seating of Mothers/Candle lighting - Claire de Lune (if I don't walk to it)

Processional - Can't Help Falling in Love (piano & cello and a nod to my late grandmother)

Bridal Entrance - ????

Unity Candle/Communion - Be Thou My Vision (piano & cello)

Recessional - Ode to Joy (piano & cello)

Beautiful selection of music! I also had a pianist with a cellist but included a violinist as well. We used Ode to Joy as our recessional too. I used the piano guys version of A Thousand Years for the processional for my bridal party and me. It was long enough for us all to walk down the aisle to the same song. Perhaps you could also use the same song as your bridal party? If not, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring or Canon in D are beautiful selections for your entrance.

These are great. I am a violinist and I usually play Arioso for the bride. Jesu, joy of mans desiring is also a good one. If you’re ok with pop, a thousand years is always gorgeous.

Hi Candace, welcome to the WeddingWire community! Smiley ring I love that you have a cellist, that'll be so beautiful for the wedding processional! Love all of the songs you've chosen so far as well as the suggestions above! Another song that came to mind was Rose's Theme from Titanic!
