OK everybody time for another question I have no idea what to do with my hair I definitely need to die it because I am going way to grey for my liking for the wedding. So it’s a matter of what color, for the past seven years I’ve had fashion colors like purple, blue, pink, and various combinations of other things and I really loved it and my fiancé loves them but my family is concerned that it’s not traditional enough and not quite as timeless and so in 10 years when I look back the pictures are going to feel really dated, so they want me to go to a dark brown, timeless and close to my natural color. They’ve been saying that for a while and it’s kind of getting to me to the point where when I got engaged last year I stopped dying my hair completely and have let it grow out so I would have a clean base for whatever I do decide to do. The problem is I have no idea what to do, my wedding isn’t that traditional to begin with, but my family is so vocal, and my FH doesn’t have a preference, I’m pale with a neutral undertone so I can handle almost any color, I’m just not sure what I want anymore let alone what to do.

thanks in advance for the help

I have purple hair and am proud of it. Im gonna stay purple for my wedding as well, because my FH loves it as well. If you want vibrant, go vibrant. I love my family but i would never let them dictate something like that. Do you!!! And no matter what, feel comfortable with what you decide.

Ombre may be a good compromise. Dark blue would be lovely with your gorgeous warm dark brown. But Tiffany blue may be a challenge? Maybe chat with a stylist to get the look you want without letting you look washed out or maybe such a stark look you don't want in your forever wedding pics?

My family was actually shocked that I had normal hair for the wedding. I like you stopped dying/bleaching it when I got engaged last year so it would be nice and healthy to take on any color. While it was growing out I came to like my natural red hair again. I had blue that just wouldn't go away but thankfully it finally was light enough that with some highlights it blended in for the most part. I can tell in pictures that it's a cooler tone at the tips but no one else really noticed lol. I had planned on doing purple and blush though. This is the first time I've had pretty natural looking hair in like 4 years lol

My hair when I bought my dress was still pretty much blue

I believe you could dye your hair a beautiful burgundy color. I think it would look gorgeous and very timeless!

I'm definitely going to either be keeping my hair purple or I'm going to do the top dark brown and the underside purple. Purple is not only one of our colors, but it happens to be mine and my husband's favorite color. Smiley smile
