Bridal Hangers...DIY Questions

Katie, on July 11, 2012 at 10:32 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 11

Anyone that made their own bridal hangers? What gauge wire did you use? Also, did you drill holes in the hangers to fasten the wire into?

Any advice, pictures, or tutorials that you found helpful?? I would really apprecaite it!

I am going to start this project this week!! So excited to see how it turns out!

I made my own as well as the New Mrs L's.

I used a thicker gauge to bend it and make sure you use a washcloth because it can start to hurt your fingers...Practice makes perfect. I used the hangers for skirts and pants because it you pull out the wire with the clips, the holes are already there. You just have to cut the notches deeper that are already on it.

Michael's and Hobby lobby have colored wire so you aren't stuck on using Silver if you choose not too.

I will also add that if you do use pliers, be very careful or put the washcloth on the wire because they will scratch the wire

Feel free to message me if you have questions!
