Bridal hangers

Haseena, on March 5, 2017 at 5:16 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 23

I'm aware that it's not a necessity, but I'd like one for my wedding esp wedding pictures. How can I make a bridal hanger? I mean ikea I can get the hangers but in terms of writing? Use a paint pen?

I used a paint pen on mine. Just make sure you practice writing with the pen first, and have an extra hanger to practice how it writes on them.

I bought wooden hangers from Primemark and glues sequin ribbon on them. They look beautiful but they are very time consuming (1+hour each)

I bought the hangers & scored a roll of ribbon for .70 cent from Michaels. I talked to a local shop that does decals. When I told her what I wanted for the names she did vinyl names that I put on the hangers myself. In trade for her to show them as free advertising I got all my names for free!

I bought some white wooden hangers from ikea 8 for $4.99 and this lady at some hotel gave me some spare brown wooden hangers for free and they didn't need and I got some sharpies and wrote our names, titles and wedding date on them.

I ordered my white ones off amazon. I have a Cricut so I cut the names out of vinyl. Your cheapest bet is the paint pens but I feel like if you don't have real good handwriting they're going to look sloppy. I'd do what @Jamie did and order vinyl stickers to put on them.

Thank you!! I actually got it off of someone's personal Etsy page. She posted something on a Facebook page and that is how I got ahold of her! Told her my colors and what I wanted! She had different color hangers as well! @Melanie S

Yes! Pen paint is good!! My friend did that and they can out great. Craft stores have little flowers you can hot glue on as well to fancy it up! I bought wide ribbon and hangers and I'm making them for my BMs

I have bad handwriting so I ordered vinyl stickers off Etsy. They were only like $3 and easy to apply.

I used a tutorial on Youtube that I found how to transfer letters using a pencil and tracing over the letters. Bought a pack of 8 hangers from IKEA, used a black sharpie and put a bow on em. Easy and costs $5.
