My BP is dancing to Jungle Love by Morris Day and the Time.

Other songs we're going to have played: Humpty Dance by Digital Underground, Let Me Clear My Throat by DJ Kool, and Put Your Hands Up by Fat Man Scoop.

    Confused....

Are you looking for entrance songs that they can dance to while walking into the reception OR to create a choereographed (sp) dance for your bridal party to preform in front of your guests?

3 songs? I think that is extremely long.

But to answer your question I love anything upbeat song by Beyonce.

Um as a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding that was recently told the bride would like a choreographed bridal party dance:

Please. For the love of God, please. Do. NOT. Do. This.

I so do not understand this trend. Does your bridal party WANT to do this? If not, don't make them. This isn't Glee.

And any more than 1 song (and thats pushing) is way too much. You're asking your guests to sit around for 10-15 (average) and watch your bridal party shake it on the dance floor. Not fun for he guest.

My cousin told me she wanted us to do a choreographed dance at her wedding like we used to do when we were kids. I was like, LOL no.

I agree with Lori. I find choreographed dances at weddings really cheesy and unnecessary.

I actually like them if you do them right. I love to dance though, so it's a no brainer at my wedding. My girls and I are doing this really cute line dance. My MOH and I met line dancing and it's so much fun! Choreographed dances can come off cheesy though, so just make sure it's appropriate and won't embarrass anybody!

"Happy" and "Party Rock Anthem" ours weren't choreographed because none of us are professional dancers and that's a lot to ask of people, but wedding party danced in with the first song. DH danced in to the second song then all of our guests and wedding party joined us on the dance floor for the remainder of the song. It went over so well and since it was at the beginning of the reception our photographers/videographers got some great shots of a packed dance floor! Good luck!
