Bridal Party Facebook Group

Danielle, on August 24, 2015 at 2:22 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 11

We have a larger size Bridal Party with everyone being located 3 plus hours away except a few. I have heard of other couples making a Facebook group to keep everyone in the loop and always updated on what is going on when. Has anyone thought or done this? Does it work out to what you would like to use it for? Any thoughts or even other suggestions??

The wedding I was in last year had a group for her Bridesmaids + some family (mom, aunt, etc..) and it worked out great. I have one set up for my bridesmaids and it is an super easy way to contact everyone at once.

I do it, and I love it. It keeps everything in one central location, and makes communication easy. Smiley smile

I might have done it but I have one BM that does not have Facebook, so I just use email. DH has one for his BM's but again, one of his GM's do not have FB so he is out of the loop.

I think my MOH has set one up for my bridal party. It seems that they have been doing some planning for pre-wedding events already.

We have one, it's awesome for updating the party with everything that's going on. They can just reply to a post and that's it.

I've never done it, but it sounds like it would work great and be really easy! I've always been kept in the loop via group emails, and I also make an email folder for every wedding I'm a bridesmaid in Smiley smile

Absolutely! I am the MOH in my bff's wedding and I made one for the bridesmaids so we could discuss details about the shower, bachelorette party, and any other stuff. Honestly I prefer group email because you can make documents that have pricing and stuff but facebook is ok too.

I'm going to set one up. I live 1200+ miles from everyone in my wedding party, and I think it will be a good way to make sure everyone knows everything, like when to order dresses, etc.

We use them at our dance studio for various events- they are great- I highly recommend it for being able to keep people posted.

I did one just for MOH and BMs. They are scattered across three states so I figured I would use it for important info, timeline, location for events, sharing pics of potential dresses for them, etc. My plan is to only use it to share important info and not bombard them with every little detail.
