Bridal party gifts

Kendall, on July 1, 2022 at 12:58 PM Posted in Planning 5 10
What are you all doing for your bridal party gifts? I’ve bought a couple things, like getting ready pjs (which I don’t really see as a gift tbh,) a ysl lipstick with their monogram on it, a tiny clutch/purse, and their day of jewelry(which I also don’t consider a gift.) my fiancé bought his groomsmen all a very nice tiny whiskey barrel with their monogram and a decanter set. I kind of feel like I need to get a few more things, but am drawing a blank.

I think what you have is good! If you feel like you want to add something else, maybe something to put in the purse? Such as, a gift card to their favorite store/restaurant, or a handwritten note to say thank you? You could also do something like a personalized coffee mug/wine glass/tumbler (depending on what you think they'd use), or a bottle of their favorite wine, or a travel jewelry case (and you could put their day of jewelry in it), or a framed photo of you and them.

Your gifts sound lovely! If you feel you need to add one more thing you can do a favorite snack/chocolates, hand lotions, bath bombs, tea, Starbucks card, bath oils, bubble bath, face masks, hair masks, fuzzy socks/slippers, hair accessories, nice candle, nail polish or gc to get nails done

I'm individualizing it to each girls' preferences! So my one friend is a mom so I got her a "girl mama" t shirt, candle, and I'll get her a dunkin gift card. I'm doing similar for all the other's as well but like my one friend is a teacher so I got her a teacher t shirt.

What you have sounds like enough! For reference I got my bridesmaids their getting ready PJs and robe, day-of jewelry but in a style they could wear for other things as well, and put it all in a tote bag on which I had their first initial monogramed. Husband gave his guys their ties and pocket squares for the day-of, monogrammed tie clips, monogrammed cuff links, and a monogrammed glass boot for beer.

I got them a tote bag, earrings, and a beauty gift set in a makeup bag. I'm also giving each box with a bouquet of flowers.

I'm getting my crew a monogrammed zip hoodie, leggings with a monogram, and slippers with their names on them for getting ready (we're not doing formal getting ready pictures, so it's kinda more of a gift than a picture prop). I'm also planning to get everyone's favorite wine with a custom label (saying something like "thanks for being my MOH/ bridesmaid"). All of that's getting put in a tote bag with the person's name on it, and I'm planning to write each a long-ish note about how grateful I am for their friendship and being there fore me on the big day.

I got my girls initial necklaces (first letter of their first name!) to wear day of, with a set of earrings! That way, if they don't have any jewelry to match their dresses, they wouldn't have to buy them. I also am purchasing their bridesmaids dresses - I'm having a destination wedding and their presence there is already a considerable amount of money. I didn't want to ask anything more!

I'm curious. what should budget for the gifts? .. I know every wedding comes in different shapes & sizes, but I was just curious on average what people are doing. I don't want it to be too little... but given my love language maybe I'm overdoing it and thinking it's not enough
