We gave them out during the rehearsal dinner.

Yep, that's our plan too. Not sure if we'll pass them out before dinner starts, or after, but they'll get them sometime during the rehearsal dinner.

You can give them out at the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner or the day of the wedding.

I am going to ask my party to be in my wedding at my engagement party (Sep. 14, 2019). My wedding is Oct. 10, 2019. I googled this question when I first got engaged, I found out that telling them sooner is better so they can prepare for expenses and to be there for you. Did you end up asking them yet?

Thank you. No I havent asked them yet. I just got thru making the proposal note and their bags. I will be asking soon. My wedding is in Nov. 2019
