Bridal Party Meeting what all to go over?

I would say wait a little to discuss the day of timeline.. I made out this packet for my BP and I will give it to them like the Wednesday before the wedding.. Because I'm thinking if you discuss something to far out in advance they wont remember they are not into "the wedding" like us brides are.... lol.. Maybe discuss what are their plans for the weekend of the wedding (days their taking off)

You got a good point, so what all do you have in the packet if you don't mind me asking?

Please go over every nook and cranny of your vision with your coordinator and bridesmaids. Make sure you SAY everything you envision in your head. They will help you execute your fantastic plans. I did not do this like I should have (thinking I did not want to micromanage my DoC) but it turns out some things I thought were just duh, were not clear. Luckily my bridal party knew me so well they were able to step in and fix anything that could be fixed.

I also did a wedding party brochure with general times, dates, cell phone numbers, roles, location information and contacts, theme, colors, etc. I think I did that around July and did the detailed day of timeline info about a week before the rehearsal.

I think it's great you'll have everyone in the same room, how helpful.

My girls are already in communication planning my shower.....in the beginning, they asked me to send them all each other's contact info, so they already have that.

I was just about to draft a group email to all of them with details on shoes, jewelry, the rehearsal time, rehearsal dinner info, the time I'm getting ready on Wedding Day, and the time we're leaving for preceremony pics. There's really nothing else they need to know right now.

I also need a head count of anyone who wants formal hair/makeup (not required) so I can make arrangements for that to happen.

I've been in a few weddings and I've never gotten a packet - usually just a few emails do the trick. I would just be careful it doesn't go overboard. You don't want them to feel overwhelmed.

Sorry for the late response..haven't been on here in a couple days.. but I included the respondiblies(day of) vendors and bridal party contact. The weekend events (hopefully we can stick to the time exactly) the cermony and reception order of events. Pictures that I want capture and songs I want played etc first dance, gater toss
