Bridal Party Nails

Jordan, on March 10, 2020 at 11:42 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 7

I want to pay for my bridesmaids and moms to get their nails done for the wedding, but I'm not sure the best way to go about this! I know that some people will want acrylics/dip which are more expensive... Should I get everyone gift cards and they can pay the difference or would it be easier for the salon to just have it all on one card? Also, should I ask everyone if they want to get pedis (that I won't be paying for) but just so I can let the salon know for the reservation?

I think if you’re on a budget then going the gift certificate route would be nice

I agree that gift cards of a set amount would be a great idea! For the pedis, I would definitely find out which of your ladies is interested, in order to make the reservation. Just tell them that you're reserving spots, and if they can afford it, and are interested, to let you know if they will be wanting a pedi also. Make sure you tell them how much it costs. Then each girl can decide for herself.

It's always nice to get a surprise (if the surprise is a free manicure), so if possible, you can just say, "Hey, we're going to get our nails done here at this time, let me know if you're coming and if you want a manicure or mani/pedi and if you want to get gel or regular so I can book the appointments together."

I've gotten that text before for a wedding that I wasn't in and everyone paid for themselves and it was fine.

The surprise would be that when people went to pay, it would either be free or significantly discounted, because you already paid for the price of the regular manicures. You would need to ask the salon how they prefer to do that.

Thank you all! Sounds like gift cards are the way to go, but I will check with my salon when I make the reservation. Smiley heart

I told my bridesmaids & the moms for anyone who was in town Thursday, they could go with me near my house to get their toes & nails done and I'd pay for it. I didn't care what they did color or style wise. A lot of my bridesmaids were out of town, so two of my bridesmaids, my flower girl, my mother, and my husband's mother & stepmother went. The other 7 girls did their own or went on their own time but I didn't pay for them.
