Bridal Party Thank you cards to be given at rehearsal dinner with their gifts

Mrs.SoonToBeW., on April 19, 2013 at 8:26 AM Posted in Planning 0 7

I am working on writing thank you cards to my bridal party and am looking for some wording examples. I don't know exactly what I should write. I want to thank them for being our groomsmen/bridesmaid, and for being apart of our day, but what else should be said?

I would make each one sincere and unique... Mine have done so much work so I am prob not going to use a general template. Smiley smile

Include how important they are to you. Maybe include a cute little anecdote from the past. I agree with Sarah to make each one sincere and personalized.

I ordered 100 thank you cards and will only be needed like 75 for the actual wedding. I ordered them blank for the purpose of personalizing each card. I'm going to handwrite even the thank you notes to the guests each with an individual message. I'll do the same for the bridal party Smiley smile

When I was in my best friends wedding, she wrote a long message not just thanking me for being in the wedding, but appreciating the friendship we have had. She included memories from our past and it was very touching! I am going to try to do that for my girls.

Should this be done at the rehearsal or after the wedding?

I think either is fine. You could either give them prior to the wedding with the bridesmaid/groomsman gifts or after with the rest of the thank you cards. It's up to you.

I did bridesmaid boxes, so that included a touching, personal letter thanking them for being part of my day and expressing why i wanted each girl at my side. For the wedding they will just get generic thank you cards, Just a blank card with "Thanks for being part of our day! We really appreciate you! Love Angel and Jake" stuck inside their gift bag. And mine will get theirs during the rehearsal
