Question: I would like to Include my Goddaughter In my wedding but she’s too big to be a flower girl and too small to be a jr bridesmaid. Her parents and her 2 youngest siblings are In the wedding. What are somethings that I can have her do?

There isn't an age requirement to be a bridesmaid. Just have her stand up with you in a pretty dress on the day of the wedding. I'm guessing she would love that.

Agreed! There is no age requirement or limit for supporting wedding roles. I’ve seen weddings that have had a 25 year old man as a flower girl, as some that have had their grandmother(s) as the flower girl(s). I’ve also seen weddings that have had the couple’s 9 year old son be the best man. There are no issues with your goddaughter being either a flower girl or a jr. bridesmaid. If you are indecisive on which role, I would just ask her which she would prefer doing.

She’s 11 but she Is smaller then your average 11 yo and besides we don’t know anyone else to be a jr groomsmen. I have 2 flower girls already. (Fact able me I hate odd numbers and I want It to be very traditional as possible. I’m thinking now maybe she walk down the aisle with her 3 yo brother (ringbearer) to kind of guide him.

11 is old enough to be a junior bridesmaid, just because she's small doesn't mean you should treat her like a little kid. But having her escort a younger child would also be a great idea. It will help make sure the 3-year-old doesn't chicken out when the big moment comes!

My aunt felt the same way about me when she got married and I was around 12. She had me read a verse from the Bible and it was nice because I was still included! 🙂
