FH and I went and did a whole buncha wedding shit today. We registered some places and looked at wedding bands - woo! When we were out and about, I realized that you get a bunch of goodies just for being a bride so I thought I'd share what "perks" I've gotten so far and where.

Target: For creating a registry, I got a handful of 15% off coupons in the mail.

Macys: For creating a registry in store, we got a booklet full of coupons for Macy's items, free Shutterfly photobook coupon, 20% off code from Wedding Paper Divas and there is a 15% completion discount for Macy's after your date.

David's Bridal: For buying my dress at David's, I received a booklet of coupons for David's Bridal, Free Shutterfly Book, $20 Shutterfly Gift card, Free pearl earrings from a jewelry store, $40 off tux @ MW

Today's Bride: For attending a Today's Bride show, I got a coupon for a free gift up to $200 from symbolizeit.com

I got a gift certificate for a six pack of chocolate covered strawberries at Absolutely Edible for trying on dresses at David's Bridal. Which is perfect timing with our 2 year anniversary around the corner!

When you order from the Knot, they throw in $20 coupons to shutterfly! BB&B registries give you a 10% off coupon, good for your entire purchase/registry. Their mail coupons for 20% off are better, but only apply to one item.

At Macy's if you link a Macy's card to your registry you get I think 5% cash back on any purchase off your registry and then an additional percentage if something from your registry is purchased with that card. So the girl who helped us pretty much told us if you are in store and see something, add it to your registry before you buy to get cash back on our card.

Regarding the free earrings you mentioned: I also got that coupon. It was from Helzberg. I went in and got them one day at the mall and while we were there ended up picking out FH's ring! They were having a customer appreciation sale so we got quite a discount. Plus the earrings aren't bad.

I got a $200 symbolize coupon from a bridal show. I also won a boudoir photo shoot at a bridal show but I wasn't comfortable doing it so I gave it to my friend. I got a awesome goodie bag filled with kitchen utensils from Bed Bath and Beyond when we registered there. It was also a rock your registry event and I won a keurig 2.0.
