Bridal portrait location? (nc)

Hi!! I live in Eastern North Carolina. I am in search of a place to take my bridal portraits. We are getting married in St. Lucia so we will already have beach pictures. I’m wanting something different.. open to traveling in NC to get the location I’m looking for.

    I live in eastern NC along the coast. I guess the beach wouldn't be a great choice, because sand and sun. But maybe a place like Fort Macon? I just took my sister's senior portraits there. It's windy because it's close to the water, but it's very pretty! Or maybe downtown Wilmington? Or just find a nearby park with some open space and greenery! I guess it depends what kind of look or feel you're going for! If you have a photographer picked out already, I'd ask them for suggestions!

    Not sure how far you are willing to travel, or what type of vibe you are going for. But here are a few options...

    Fearrington Village (right outside of Chapel Hill) - super gorgeous grounds.

    Historc Oak View Park (Raleigh)

    The Hall and Garden at Landmark (Garner)

    FH and I went to this vineyard/winery in Ocean Isle Beach while we were vacationing this summer and it was BEAUTIFUL. The owners/employees are super nice and I know they do have weddings there, so they would probably let you take photos there for free or a small fee!
