Bridal shoot or couples?

You can do both! You can definitely do some photos before and some after that way it’s not rushed and you have more time for it all

We’re doing a first look, couple photos, bridal party pictures, and family pictures all before the ceremony so that everyone can enjoy the cocktail hour and everything afterwards. It’s entirely up to you!

We did both. We had a first look, and took out bridal party photos before the ceremony. Our bridal party attended cocktail hour with the rest of our guests and my husband and I took some photos around the venue. It was great for us. We got beautiful photos that way.

Plan to do both! Just in case you’re running behind then you can choose to skip one of them and at least you’ll have some photos of the two of you. My photographer called them “formal” portraits. We did first looks and then formals with couple and wedding party, ceremony, and a few more formal couples pics during cocktail hour and then a few more romantic sunset couples pics after we finished eating and while guests were finishing up eating.

We are doing both on wedding day. A location shot, pre ceremony, ceremony, family, and some reception. We have photographer for 8 hrs though.
