    Hey Kristyn!

I’m so sorry that you didn’t enjoy your first bridal gown appointment.

It’s definitely frustrating looking for the perfect wedding gown and not easily finding sample sizes that make you feel as confident and ‘bridal’ as you had hoped.

There are definitely some tips and tricks that you can employ so that you have an enjoyable and relaxing time searching for your perfect wedding gown.

Since most bridal salons only stock sample sizes, you may be able to call ahead to make sure that you can try on dresses in a larger sample size. You can also request that you are working with a bridal assistant that is well versed in plus size bridal options.

Don’t forget that details can be added. If you have found a beautiful dress but aren’t in love with the sleeves or neckline, it most likely can be altered by a seamstress. Be open with your sales assistant about what you want, they will be able to advise you about what changes would look best, or (if they have one in-house) they may be able to ask their seamstress to give you their advice while you are there.

Are there any inspiration photos of dresses that you absolutely love?

Yes thank you for your advice. I had a much better experience my second time going to a bigger shop and they had my size I do have one dress that I'm basically in love with and haven't seen any that really look like it at any shops. this is the one I would like but I'm nervous to order over the internet and not try it on fisrt.

Girl, if you want to take a road trip you should check out Reading Bridal District in Reading Ohio here in Cincinnati. I shopped there but I didn't find anything that I really loved since I'm plus sized but I got my dress over in KY tho. You just need to check around and call and see what bridal stores carry plus size and see if they carry your size also remember the dresses aren't US sizes they're European Sizes. Good luck girl.

Best advice is try on every style because what you might think you have thought you wanted in a dress you may not like it on you. Also, figure out what your budget is because you got the dress price then plus tax and then other stuff and that doesn't even included alternations price. Good luck girl.
