Hi all!

I went to a bridal show a few months ago and registered my name and phone number. I got a call today from a company called NHI International saying I won 2 wedding bands, a 3/day 2/night trip to the Caribbean, and champagne flutes. All I have to do is go to a "bridal expo" at the Holiday Inn in my city.

Has anyone every encountered anything like this? I searched them online and they appear to be a real company, but their website is odd. Does anyone know if this is a scam?

Thanks!

Did you end up getting anything they promised you? Was it worth it?

Well if everyone is wondering we hit the jackpot of information on anyone who is trying to go for charges or get your money back in this process. You need to call The FTC, federal trade commission. The number is 202-326-2222. It’s out of Washington DC, And you need to go under Century lifestyles Inc. I hope you all have the best of luck from both my wife and I. If you have any questions feel free to message me or my wife on Facebook we are actively searching on this issue. Need more people to come forward.

So did this ever work out? Did you get the 7 night vacation? My fiancé and I may have gotten roped in by the same people tonight. 😭

I agree,it I'ts really there in the location to go..they "may" give you a vacation. But,planning the wedding with a crew of crazy yet fun bridesmaids and putting in your footwork in the end is so much cheaper..truly less stressful than chasing a Corningware and a trip w no return flight(I'm just making light of a very serious issue.Smile everyoneSmiley smile.
If its offering tastings and gift bags go and give an app phone number and your wedding contacts email..take down the spam.
    Just say I learned a lesson myself...thankful for my ladies(and a few gentlemen).This is a really thoughtful feed. ☺

It’s a scam. Do not buy anything they are offering. I purchased their cookware and paid way too much for garbage products. Stay away from anything pure life. Biggest regret of my life giving them any money at all. Ended up throwing away their crappy pans. Such a waste.

What happened after? I purchased them as well but yet to set a date we’re getting married in 2022 so we have time but the pots were worth it , I’m a huge cooker/ meal pepper so it saves me loads of time and money!

I was nearly scammed by the same thing. Thankfully, my fiancé Googled if it was a scam before I abruptly took the day off of work. I would've been LIVID.
Although the champagne flutes would've been nice, my future MIL gave my fiancé & I engraved Waterford crystal champagne flutes with our last name and our wedding date.

I actually went to this, I do feel that it was a scam in the sense that they are selling a product that it 5xs the amount it should be but the product is actually very good. Enough to make you want to spend the 3000 lol. But after think about it wisely my fiance and I just took the free stuff and left and its all reputable you get everything you are promised . Maybe couple of fees here and their but I thought it was pretty legit

Same. I went to a bridal show in 2019. As much as I wanted it to be true, it sounded too good. Thankfully I Google it beforehand.

Yes!! It’s not a scam. You would have to pay for passports and shipping costs of items you want. Maybe go to a “buy these pots” show. But it’s legit.

I am a victim as well dear. I live in Orlando, FL and I attended the expo at one of the Holliday Inn hotel off I-Drive. I made a payment to them as a shipping fee to receive the gifts and I never heard from them after a long while. I received another call from them with the same offer then I explained to them that I had already attended the expo, that I was still waiting on my products (Pans & Cookware, 2night 3 days vacation + 2 wedding bands & champagne flutes) and they gave me a new phone number # stating they were in the process of moving to a different location once they established someone will contact me so I can finalize my shipping information. Nada! Til today I haven't heard from, and as you can see I was looking up for them and came across your comment. Can only feel sorry for us, too gullible!🙏

I just attended a bridal expo recently and rec'd the call today from them - The Bridal Registry Today. It's a way to lure you into purchasing kitchenware. I'm told the prizes are legit but you have to pay fees and taxes. You do have to sit through a 90 minute demo and it's basically a traveling show so you have to be available on a specific date. I declined. We have enough expenses right now Smiley smile
