Bridal Show Scam? HELP!

Hi all! I went to a bridal show a few months ago and registered my name and phone number. I got a call today from a company called NHI International saying I won 2 wedding bands, a 3/day 2/night trip to the Caribbean, and champagne flutes. All I have to do is go to a "bridal expo" at the Holiday Inn...

Hi all!

I went to a bridal show a few months ago and registered my name and phone number. I got a call today from a company called NHI International saying I won 2 wedding bands, a 3/day 2/night trip to the Caribbean, and champagne flutes. All I have to do is go to a "bridal expo" at the Holiday Inn in my city.

Has anyone every encountered anything like this? I searched them online and they appear to be a real company, but their website is odd. Does anyone know if this is a scam?

    I went to a bridal show in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I received the call similar to this it said I had won a free honeymoon in Orlando Florida the only catch was I had to make a decision by the end of the phone call and have the float the first $500. So of course I declined however if they did not ask you for a credit card or anything upfront it makes me think a little different

    So my fiance and i ended up going last week. Yes, we had to sit and listen to the sales pitch for about 2 hours. We didn't buy anything but still got our prizes. I haven't tried ordering the prizes yet but we did get them. The product seems amazing but very expensive. The sales guy, Jerry, was funny in a jerk kind of way.

    I just got a call from this company as well for the same prize package. Has anyone tried to book a trip and is it worth claiming the prize?

    Wow!!! I got the same phone call from this company at a show i went to. We didn't go because it all sounded fishy. Plus we know that free always means it's coming out of your taxes later. We opted in not going because it was on the other side of town and at 7pm at night.

    I went to a bridal show and i had the same thing happen, only difference was i was to have my fiancee on the phone with me and we had to make a decision about the free trip after the details were discussed with us. Came to find out my mother and 2 other bridesmaids got the same call

    Are the cookware & glassware vendors names Don and Darlene by chance? I recieved 2 calls saying we had won... but would have to pick it up at a future bridal show "sometime in the next few months". No further information. Also, this Don charactor said his name and the company he worked for at least 9 times during a 1 minute voicemail.
