I got a few great things off my registry which was nice because I didn't think anyone would use it. A good friend of mine flew in for the weekend just for it, I haven't seen her if over two years.
I think the only awkward moment after the fact was having someone come up to me the next day from a circle of people which we have in common is apologize for not attending and "forgetting" about it but they were not invited.... My sister who was in charge as she took on the task voluntarily, went by the wedding guest list because it is rude to invite someone who's not invited to the wedding and unfortunately our space is limited for our venue and we prioritized family and friends. I did not know how to respond to this person only because I was in the middle of a conversation with someone else and they decided to approach me in that moment but I didn't want to embarrass them since the person I was speaking with was invited they just couldn't make it. Oh the awkward moments of planning lol
