Does anyone have any good ideas on "games" or other activities to do at a bridal shower (or couples shower even)? This is 2017, not 1950, I think the whole bridal shower thing could use a major update.

What about pictionary or charades? I think games that adults would play at normal times would be way better than made up games that are "bridal" or "wedding" related. Those seem lame to me.

We had a co-ed shower and had a lot of fun, but I'm a sucker for those shower games - I just love them! My BM came up with a wedding jeopardy game that everyone loved. It had wedding-related categories including famous couples, etiquette, and things about FH and me. We also began the shower with a good ice-breaker game called "Who Am I" where each guest is given the name of a famous person pinned to their back so they can't see and they ask "yes" or "no" questions to figure out their person.

BINGO with the gifts. If the FH comes playing the Newlywed game to see how well they know each other. Quiz to see how well the guests know the bride

We just did one for my SIL. Everyone wrote on a piece of paper a word that is related to wedding( kiss, bride, dress, alter, etc) split into two teams and a person on each team pulls out word and describes it for people to guess.(basically like Taboo). Team with most correct answers wins. another one was Who Said It. There were phrases and next to them were the bride and groom names and you had to circle who said it.

@earias, I like the idea of jeopardy, my sister loves that show. On the topic of co-ed showers, How do you make it fun for the guys too and not the typical girly bride-everything shower? Did you call it something else?

What is everyone's opinions on them? Pros & cons?
