Bridal shower - are games appropriate?

I know people don't like games at weddings. What about games at bridal showers? I've only been to one bridal shower so I'm not sure what the norm is. What are you doing for yours? I am not planning my bridal shower, my mom and sister are. But they've asked me if there's anything I want or don't...

I am not planning my bridal shower, my mom and sister are. But they've asked me if there's anything I want or don't want. Smiley smile

We did the fairly standard TP wedding dress game at my cousins shower. The bride got a kick out of it.

Also, not a game, but still funny, someone wrote down the first thing she said when she opened each gift, and then read them back to her as a script, as we were all laughing our tails off! She didn't know anyone was writing them down, so she had some hilarious reactions to the gifts.

I like games at bridal showers. It gives guests something to do. Some may participate, some may not.

My sister/MOH is throwing me a shower in 2 weeks, and she's keeping the games secret, but she has been asking me some really weird questions lately.

I'm excited and looking forward to it.
