Bridal shower at Brides House

No, absolutely not. If you have the space to host a shower then it makes sense to have it at your place.

I think that’s a great idea! Plus, then you don’t have to worry about transporting presents, they’re already at your home! I say as long as you’re fine with it, it will be wonderful!

That’s what we did for my shower!! My MOH (lives in an apartment, and financially w ecouldnt afford a venue) so she mailed all of the invites and what not so everyone knew I wasn’t the host, and I left my house for two hours before the shower so they could decorate and when I got back all the guests were there waiting on me!

I don’t think that’s inappropriate because they’re just using the space but they’re gonna set up and do it themselves right? For my bridal shower we had to use my husbands family’s house since it was large but my bridesmaids did all the work.

Totally fine! I’ve been to plenty of showers at the home of the bride bc many of my friends are not from the area and have had moms/aunts/sisters fly in to host their shower.
