Bridal shower attire for bride

What is common in your social circle? You can wear anything you want. In our families and social circles, the bride doesn’t wear white to any pre-wedding events. Dresses vs a blouse and slacks depends on your preference. We’ve seen a mix depending on the personality. I’m not a dress person generally so will likely wear a cute top and dressy pants, and probably nothing white. .

I’m having my shower in may indoors and planning on wearing this white dress.

I also have a shower in June outdoors and will probably wear the blush dress

I had the hardest time finding a shower dress! Of course, in the months after my wedding I found so many white dresses I would have loved to have worn!


My shower was at an upscale seafood restaurant and I randomly found a neoprene sleeveless white shift midi dress with a fun ruffle detail at Marshall’s the week of! I’m normally a big online shopper but in the spring it’s pretty common to find white dress in stores!

Just found a pic of my dress online! It was super cute and comfortable, very bridal and appropriate for our indoor venue. The thick fabric made it more spring than summer!

And, last but not least, I plan to wear this one for from Lulus (although I had it hemmed to knee length) for my rehearsal dinner:
All events are indoors.

I wanted to know to I thought that you are supposed to wear white for your bridal shower. You got Amazon wear and Shein, Macy's

I like dresses and slacks
However my body does not like rompers (which sucks because they’re so cute!) Just so many options and feeling the pressure!

I'm having two "showers". One is here in NJ where I currently live with my FH's family and friends here. The other is more of a brunch back in my home state with my family and friends there.

I wanted something white, but also more fun and had some color and was more of a brunch feel. I bought it from my friends boutique in MN (that's her in the picture) but it's sold out now.

I know this isn't what you asked but I also purchased this one and was originally going to wear it to the brunch one, but now I'm saving for rehearsal

I'm wearing this one from Lulu's for my shower (also in May and indoors). I might toss a cardigan over it for my rehearsal. Or get a jacket with Mrs. on the back or something.

My shower was today and this is what I wore! (I’m on the right) It was a brunch type shower so it was more casual. I got it from SHEIN!

Wear what you feel most comfortable in, some people like to wear white or a sweet floral pattern, another option is to wear one of your wedding colors. Lulu's has some really cute options here are a few of my faves:
