I had my bridal shower over the weekend! Despite moving the wedding back 7 weeks, we decided to have the shower as scheduled. It was a lot of fun! When it was clear the Covid would not be done with before the shower date, the hostess contacted all of the guests and informed them that we were still having the shower, but that we were changing the format. People signed up for a one-hour slot of their choosing between 9am and 7pm. Each time slot had its own theme (breakfast and coffee, tea and biscuits, lunch, happy hour, wine and cheese, etc) and its own game. People knew of the time slot's theme when they signed up so that they could choose one that matched their preferences. During a few of the time slots, my family from overseas called in. It was a great day, and I got to see people whom I hadn't seen in a few months and actually have one-on-one time to talk to them! If you're thinking of doing any kind of party during Covid, I highly recommend this set-up!
