I’m helping plan a friends bridal shower and I was wondering how much you usually spend just on decor ? (tablecloths, balloons, banners, centerpieces, other normal bridal shower decor, etc). I want to make sure it looks good for them, that it’s what they’ve always wanted, but I didn’t realize how quickly every little thing adds up. I just want to make sure I’m not going overboard but I really didn’t think what I was going for would be so much.

My mom, family friend, and I all hosted one for my sister in March. I spent about $200 on it - i did a balloon arch, signs, I made a wooden H for her new last name (with flowers from hobby lobby glued on), and did a mimosa bar. My mom probably spent about $150 for flowers, tablecloths, plates, napkins, utensils, etc. The family friend did the food, so she also probably spent about $150-200.
So I'd guess in total it was around $600.
