Bridal shower dress?

I’m trying to decide what I should wear to my bridal shower. My wedding colors are purple and grey, and my shower colors are pink and yellow, it’s a lemonade lunch theme. Not sure if I should wear wedding colors or the shower colors but I also don’t want to match all the decorations or not match if I wear purple. I have also seen brides wear white to the shower, but I thought that was supposed to be saved to be special for the wedding. What did you ladies wear?

I would just wear whatever color you want. You don’t need to match the decor. My shower was “falling in love” themed with typical fall colors like burgundy and burnt orange, I wore a navy dress.

I didn’t want to overdo wearing white, so I just wore a pink floral dress to my shower. I really didn’t think about it too much... my main color (for wedding and shower) was turquoise and I didn’t plan to match or anything, I just picked a dress that I thought was pretty 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wanted to wear white, but didn't want to spend money on a solid white dress because I knew I would never wear it again.. So I went with a white floral dress I found on Amazon.
