Bridal shower drinks

Emma, on July 20, 2020 at 10:49 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 13
What type of drinks for a 2pm-430pm bridal shower?
I was thinking sweet tea, lemonade, water, some sodas and maybe a punch?

I think that's perfect. I went to a bridal shower that served the same. They also had coffee.

    That sounds good!

my bridal shower was around the same time and we had a mimosa table. it had some juices, champagnes, some flavoring syrups, etc.

Those sound like great options. I'm always a fan of a mimosa bar at showers as well.

Sounds good to me. Ngl I was a little disappointed there was no alcohol at mine but that’s ok! It was a day time event with one 13 year old.

Can you include something that isn't sweet (other than water)? Some flavored (but unsweetened) sparkling water would be nice. And iced tea and coffee (with the option to sweeten them available).

I would but we’re in the south where sweet tea is everyone’s go to 😂 I know for sure everyone would either want sweet tea or water

Ah, OK. Regional preferences do matter of course. I strongly prefer non-sweet drinks, but I would also just drink water and not complain about it to the host (if water was the only non-sweet option available). You know your guests best.

Although I totally forgot this! We will have a gallon of unsweetened tea as well because my mother and aunt like to mix it in their sweet tea to make it less sweet

I think those all sound great! The only other idea I have is providing various fruits and such (strawberries, limes, raspberries, etc) to give options for different flavors of lemonade. Sangria and/or mimosas are normally popular choices as well.

At my showers, the hosts provided water, tea, soft drinks, and wine.

Lemonade, sweet tea and water (maybe flavored rather than plain) should cover you. While a plethora of options are nice, it is ok to limit it to 3-4 choices.

The options you listed sound great! You could also do a mimosa bar or a boba tea bar - some kind of unique interactive-type thing to add a bit of fun to it.

We had water, juices, soda, and mocktails for mine. My shower was at a county rec center and they have a strict no alcohol policy.
