Bridal Shower Game Prizes

Annie & Javi, on June 5, 2015 at 9:22 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 23

I'm so stoked, I was just gifted 'instant manicure' and 'nail rejuvenating serum' products (three of each) for game prizes for my bridal shower, MSRP being a total of $75.00 when you pair the two items together. I'm so grateful for such awesome prizes from an unexpected gifter! I feel bad because I never even tried these products but I was also gifted a set, amongst other products for myself.

We already have cute little notepads and Cotton Candy scented mini Yankee candle jars for prizes as well.

What is the best game prize you ever won at a bridal (or baby) shower?

I have been to so many. I hate the games. I never win. Even if it's just a raffle. Yay for you though!

That's pretty awesome. At my best friend's shower the big prize was a Harry and David gift set that went over HUGE. I think I only paid $20 for it at the outlet after Christmas (the packaging didn't look Christmasy). For my shower (still about 7 weeks away) I offered some prizes for my MoH to use. Mom and I went a little nuts not this past Christmas but the one before and picked up a bunch of those serenity fountains for $1.50-$2.50 each on clearance to sock away as emergency gifts the next Christmas. We still have a bunch of them left so she's going to add them to the prizes. I read somewhere, maybe here, where someone had set a timer to go off during presents...when the timer goes off, whoever's gift is being opened gets a prize. We loved that idea to break up the monotony of gifts and with so many extra fountains we'll be able to give away quite a few extra prizes during gift opening.

At a baby shower, I won a game and was gifted with a basket full of hair products, including a wet brush (love!!), shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, and a styling product -- the guest of honor (my friend)'s mom is a hairstylist Smiley smile

^^^^ I think we all know a memory stick as a thumb drive or use stick---thanks for the hugely detailed explanation.

Also please do not give stuffed animals or fake trophies. Wth.

I'm not being blindfolded at my shower and I've never been to any where the bride would appreciate such a thing.

Ron, why are you even here? Everything you write is painfully long-winded and completely irrelevant.

Thumb drive, flash drive or USB would have cleared up my question lol.

Morales - I agree with you. I personally wouldn't take the trophy or stuffed animal nor would I waste money on buying those items to give out....Also wouldn't give them out if someone gave them to me for free.

    Thinking the same thing Emily!

If I didn't appreciate Celias and Centerpieces input I would hide all my posts from vendors at this point.

Ron isn't even a wedding vendor! He's a teacher and trainer. Check out his website! Glad I'm not the only one who thought his responses have been odd.

Anyway, the best gift I ever won were mini roses plants. They were so cute and I planted them in my garden.

I didn't understand why he was here when I looked at his profile, I guess he is trying to get into the wedding world but I don't understand why.

I go to guitar lessons and miss the entertainment it seems. How did getting blindfolded even come up?

Dr. Ronald suggested blindfolding the bride and giving her presents to open and guess what they were or something along those lines. I'm not even 100% sure because I only skimmed his post.

I think he was making a suggestion of games to play, not that It was what I was even asking about.
