Bridal shower invites

If it's a traditional bridal shower, it would be the women closest to the bride who are local to the location of the shower.

I think making sure they're invited to the wedding is important. I'll just be having my 2 sisters, best friend and my mom. I think it can be fun with a small group or a larger group.

If bridesmaids are hosting, then you invite the closest ladies on your wedding guest list who are local to the party venue.


If coworkers, fellow church members or other social groups are hosting, then they typically include everyone in that group. You accept the parties graciously but you do not need to invite them to wedding.

Normally those that are closest to the bride.
