Bridal Shower - painting with a twist

Alli, on July 2, 2019 at 12:17 PM Posted in Parties and Events 1 3

My mother and sister have asked me what I would like to do as far as a bridal shower goes. While a dinner/brunch would be fun and appreciated if that's what they really want to do, it's not really my "style." I don't expect anyone to shower me and would much rather just spend time with the ladies in our families doing something fun like Painting with a Twist. (Plus I think FH's Aunt is planning something more traditional...)

Would it be appropriate for each person coming to pay for their own painting and we supply the wine? Or would that be rude?

I am actually going to a bridal shower next weekend. They are throwing the bride a tea party shower (I think its from 12-3) then after the shower there is an option to "pay your way" and join in on a "girls night" paint and sip. I feel like if you are just doing the paint and sip whoever is hosting should pay for it but if its an optional "girls night" thing then they can just pay for themselves.

If it is a bridal shower the host needs to pay for event if it is a bachelorette night then the guests should pay

I like the idea of doing it after a shower.. I will definitely keep that in mind!
