Bridal Shower registy

We're I live you just have one big registry and use it for everything

I've never seen anyone make a separate registry for the shower. I've seen close relatives like the mom, grandma, or aunts get personal gifts for the bride like personalized shirts, beach hats, etc., but generally gifts are meant for the couple.

We used the wedding registries for the shower.

IMO the registry is for the shower not the wedding.

I think wedding registry and bridal registry are the same thing. I’ve never seen there be separate ones. People may register different places, but essentially all the same registry.

You're registry should be used for all wedding events, including your shower(s). Generally, people will use your registry for shower gifts and bring cards with money to the wedding. So you will not need a separate one.

We won't be making a 4th registry. We made 3 already with quite a few items on it.

You really only need one registry. The bridal shower is usually the big gift giving event anyways, so having something separate for the wedding just gets a bit confusing. Usually the personal gifts are things people go off script for.

I'm using the same registry for my shower as the wedding.

They are meant to be one whole registry. You can have multiple stores but the registry is one in the same. If things are leftover after your bridal shower other wedding guests can choose to purchase them for you.

The one shower I've been to there wasn't a separate registry and there were a good number of gifts given that were more personalized or just non registry gifts.

We made a few registries that we're hoping are primarily used for the showers but there will probably still be a few gifts left over if people prefer gifting physical gifts for the wedding rather than cash.

We only have one registry and we'll be using that one for both bridal shower / wedding If you have a good mix of pricing, then I say use that one! You could also maybe add a few things on there that are more "personal" to you so people could have the option to get a more personalized gift for you instead of just a generic gift that both you and your SO will utilize!

I have 2 registries set up. Both registries can be used for the bridal shower and/or wedding.

We’ll just have the one. My family (aunts on my dad’s side) are notorious for “going in” on gifts and if there are only small items, I’ll end up getting a toaster from five people. Best to give a variety 😉
