Bridal shower seating

Jen, on January 11, 2023 at 8:29 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4
I’m helping with a bridal shower for my future daughter-in-law. The venue is a neighborhood clubhouse with limited tables with chairs , but has couches and other folding chairs. Lunch is going to be served that will require the use of utensils. Do I need to have table seating for all the guests? I can bring in outside tables if needed.

I would recommend having table seating for every guest. Especially if it requires use of utensils. Guests shouldn't have to struggle to eat because they have to place their plate on their lap. And it could cause spills.

I second Ashlee, it is important as a host to make sure everyone has a chair at a table to eat and set their things down. Some people may have a harder time getting off the couch, and standing from a lower position.

I would definitely do table seating!

I agree, everyone should have a seat at a table. How would you go about choosing who gets to sit at the tables anyway? Not sure that would work anyway.
