Bridal Shower..Surprise or no surprise?

I don't have a preference, but I'd rather know so that I can look pretty, lol.

That's what I told my mother. Because if it's one of those days...I'm not so likely to care so much what I look like...and then I will highly regret it when I walk into a place being in complete shock lol

No surprise for me. I wanted to know and be prepared.

My MOH tried to surprise me but my mom is bad at hiding things so i kinda knew ahead of time lol. Id rather want to know personally anyways

Mine wasn't a surprise, I liked knowing what was going on

I know the date but I'm letting my mom and bridesmaids do the planning and butting out of it. I didn't want a surprise shower and my FMIL wasn't happy but my engagement was a big surprise and 33.5 seconds after I got engaged, I walked into our surprise engagement party. I think I've had enough surprises ;-)

I wouldn't want a surprise.

A. My MOH doesn't know the ladies on fh's side that should be invited.

B. she would need the guest list to know who to invite because I don't want people who aren't invited to the wedding invited to the shower... That's kind of awkward.

I work weekends so there is no way I could do a surprise shower!

I want to know when/where it's going to be. But my family really loves surprise parties. So I got outvoted. :-p I don't mind too much!

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't want a surprise shower! I want to know exactly when it's going on, etc. All I know at the moment is they are trying to set a date for it to be in April or May. I'm not being involved with the planning of it or anything so I'll at least walk into a surprise of not knowing what it looks like etc. inside.

I don't want it to a surprise b/c i like to decorate my events on how i like them. My friends don't have good taste

Mine was a surprise and it was fabulous. i didn't have to do ANYTHING for it. and my cousin (MOH) was on the same page as I was about shower games - sorry but i find them awkward and cheesey.

anyway, i loved being surprised. and everyone who was involved did an amazing job.
