Bridal Shower Theme

I think the Bridal shower is usually a small glimpse at what the wedding would look like so generally they would match or at least be similar without giving too much away. In the end its your day - do what you want

Mine didn't match color-wise. Black and gold for the wedding and gold and teal for the shower. But they do both have a vintage tone to them

Whoever is hosting your bridal shower should pick the theme. I'd stay out of the planning.

I've always wanted a brunch. So they planned a brunch with navy, pink and gold. Our wedding colors are navy gold and white.

I feel it's whatever you like. Mines isn't matching and a Harry Potter theme will be amazing. If I'm not mistaken another bride had that theme and posted it recently

My shower and wedding were completely different...It doesn't matter if they match or not. And like previous people have said, don't plan or help plan your own shower.
