Bridal shower time

Emma, on July 19, 2020 at 6:26 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11
What’s the best time for a Saturday bridal shower where only finger foods, not a meal, would be served?
How long should a bridal shower last?

I had mine at 2p on a Saturday where we mostly just had desserts and finger foods. My shower was a few hours long

Anytime between 1-4pm or late evening after dinner. They typically just last 2-3 hours max. You have a couple games, eat, open presents, and lots of mingling.

I agree with Jana - sometime between 1-4pm would be best if not serving a meal. 1:30pm or 2pm would likely be the ideal start time - far enough after end of lunch, and far enough before when people start eating dinner.

2/3pm is a good start time and 4-5 hrs tops. You want to give the gals time to arrive depending on everyone’s travel situation. Then some time to mingle, drink, laugh and have loads of fun while you gals pick at the finger foods. Lol 🎉❤️

I think for an event that has snacks, you'd be looking at max 2-3 hours, and as others have said, between lunch and dinner (i.e. 2-4pm or 2-5pm).

Some have said 4-5 hours but honestly that is a very long time for a bridal shower, unless you have LOTS of things planned to keep everyone entertained for that long.

Ours was 2:00 - 4:00. I thought it was perfect timing.

You could do 2-4 in the afternoon, or a brunch shower if you wanted to! Mine will be 10-12 on a Saturday morning with fruit, bagels, pastries, and mimosas/juice.
