Typically bridal showers are held 1 to 3 months before the wedding

Showers are typically typically held 1-3 months prior to the wedding, but that isn’t written in stone. If there is a time outside of that range that works best for you and your family/friends, that is OK too! And, contrary to popular belief, your MOH does not have to be the one who throws your shower. Anyone close to you can volunteer to host it! Just be sure you OK the guest list with them first, to ensure they do not invite anybody to the shower who will not be invited to the wedding.

August would be perfect! Or even late July or early September. Our original date was 04/18/20 and my MOH planned my shower for 02/29/20!

Bridal showers are usually 1-3 months prior to the wedding. However, I saw that you plan on getting married at a courthouse without any guests so I'm not sure a shower is very appropriate as it is frowned upon to invite guests to a gift giving event like a shower if they aren't also invited to the wedding.
