Bridal Shower

Hello everyone!! Okay so COVID changed my original date for our wedding. We were able to postpone to July 11th, 2020. We were able to do it and got lucky!!!😊😊 I need everyone’s advice because I don’t know what to do lol. So with COVID my bridal shower was canceled. My matron of honor spoke with wherever it is going to be and the next date that they had available is July 19th, 2020. Which is a week after the wedding. I AM planning on just going to my bridal shower on my own. But, I just want everyone’s opinions because the way my bridal shower and wedding happened is unique because of COVID changing our plans. Should I still be the only one to go to the bridal shower since it typically is ONLY for the ladies? Or would it not matter since we are married now???

    It’s not really clear what you’re asking. Should you still be the only one to attend? Are you asking if your FH should attend the shower?

    Honestly if it is co ed I would not have him come unless he wants to be around a bunch of ladies. I would treat it like a normal shower since you're right COVID just changed plans around. Maybe he can show up at the end to help bring the gifts to the car.

    If it’s just ladies then he would a little out of place. Then it would be best for you to be the only one to show up. Plus it gives you girls some more bonding time.
    He can show up after to pick up gifts.

    I completely agree! Your newlywed status doesn't really change anything here - if it's still an event planned for the ladies I don't think it would be super enjoyable for him!
