Bridal Shower

Hello! I'm getting married March 17, 2020 but I don't know when to do my shower, any advice for a fellow bride? I'm thinking Mid January, but I'm unsure if I should wait until February or when to do it. What advice do you have and any Date Twins?

Whenever works for you and the host(s.) It's typically within 3 months of the wedding, so January or February would be fine.

You're getting married on my 26th birthday Smiley smile what a fun holiday to get married on! I think January is fine, I'd say January or February or early March! My shower was in the middle of May and our wedding was in the middle of July.

As long as you wait until after the holidays, I think any time would be fine. I only say that because the holidays are so hectic for most people. I'm getting married February 23 and my mom wants to have my bridal shower the first or second weekend of January.

The holidays are what I'm concerned about scheduling around and our Best Man is getting married the 18th of January so I don't want to conflict with travel to his wedding or be too close to major holidays. I may aim for the last weekend of January/first weekend of February. We're planning on doing a bachelorette trip at the end of February.

    Ps. Happy Early Birthday!

I'm almost a date twin haha. We got married on March 18th, 2017 and my Mom and bridesmaids threw my shower the weekend before Valentine's Day. I would've maybe preferred a week or 2 earlier, (lots of snow in New York in February) but overall it was beautiful and I loved it.

My wedding is Dec. 13 and my shower was yesterday! So I would say about a month out from your date in February should be great!

January or February is fine! I have been to a bridal shower the week prior to the wedding even. Whatever works for you and the host!
