My family was wondering if you invite the dads & brothers to the bridal shower. I'm the first one in the family to get married and they have no idea(neither do I haha). Is it just your discretion?

As far as I know, a bridal shower is a women's event.

Traditionally no. But couples showers are a thing.
But I think the answer to your specific question is no.
But I'm dragging my fiance to his family's side.

Traditionally no. It is usually a women only event. HOWEVER...many couples now opt to have a couples' shower instead of a traditional bridal shower. That depends on what you can afford. Because if you do a couples' shower, that means men are invited so your guest list is the same as for the wedding.
