Hi,

Who normally plans the bridal shower? I have a bridesmaid who is particularly interested in planning the shower, but I'm just wondering for normally is responsible.

Aside from the couple, anyone can host the shower.

Anyone who offers can plan your bridal shower. Typically it is either the wedding party or your mom or FMIL, but really anyone who loves you and wants to celebrate you can do it. I would suggest that she perhaps get input from other BP members or any close female family members you have, but no one is really assigned that responsibility.

Anyone that's not yourself.
If your one BM wants to do it, then be all means feel free to accept. Just make sure to ask how many people she is willing to host and keep your invite list to that amount.
