Bridal shower?

Kaitlyn, on August 15, 2019 at 5:52 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9
When is usually the timeframe that you have them? The wedding is May 2020, and my MOH was discussing either November or January, since December is such a holiday season it would be way too busy for everyone. I’m just not sure how close to the wedding you’re supposed to have a bridal shower.

They're typically within 2-3 months of the wedding. I personally think that even January is too early and would opt for April if possible.

I say 1 to 3 months before but that depends if you have many people that are traveling. My wedding was in March and my friends had a crazy November and December with other weddings, birthday parties and holidays so we had bachelorette in January and bridal shower in February. I didn’t have a big shower and a lot of presents so I didn’t spend the last month unpacking and setting up stuff. If you do I do not recommend a month before.

I’m getting married this October and my mom’s best friend is hosting a shower for us, in my hometown, next weekend. My FMIL is also hosting a shower for us, in my fiancee’s hometown, the 2nd week of September. So based on that, 1-2 months before the wedding.

I did mine three months before. But it's also based on what your schedule is.

Usually showers are 3 months out, or less. So after winter holidays, for yours .
