Bridal Shower/bachelorette

What are people doing if they end up having bridal shower/bachelorette plans not happening when they planned? Mine was scheduled about five weeks before the wedding and I still want to do something when it’s safe, of course.

Hello! I had vegas planned in July for my bachelorette but I feel like it's not going to happen. Smiley sad so I cancelled the trip. Wedding is October 23 so if safe to do so I might reschedule vegas a little before the wedding (hopefully wedding wont be postponed) and everything is ok by then. Or I'm also considering just doing something local or at home. Sending positive vibes your way!

My wedding is in June. My bridal shower was planned for May 3, at a club house in my neighborhood but since a lot of friends and or family can't make it we will be moving it to my house, and also doing a virtual bridal shower too. As for my bachelorette it was scheduled for May 30 and I didn't know what the girls had planned but they told me our hotel canceled on us ( in Oregon somewhere) so they are working on another fun ladies night we could do. Good luck!! I hope everything works out for you!!

I Wont Be Having Either Unfortunately, Not Because Of The Virus But because My Bridal Party And Family Are All Out Of State. Im Sure If I Was Able To Have Them Though I Probably Would've Canceled Them.

I’m not having a bachelorette party, but I’m going to reschedule my bridal shower I believe. My stepmom already bought a ton of stuff for it, and I was really looking forward to it! It was supposed to be tomorrow. She may reschedule it for late summer or fall maybe? I’d already be married by then but I’m assuming this is ok given the circumstances.

My wedding shower was scheduled for next Sunday. My maid of honors were planning it but we decided to postpone it. If things are better by May they’re thinking the 31st If not June 7th. My wedding is June 29th. I was looking forward to it but I’m starting to realize that everything happens how it has to happen. I’m extremely sad but honestly at this point all I want is just to marry my man and have a life with him! Sending prayers your way.

We were planning a virtual shower and a super small bachelorette before we postponed. My bachelorette was literally going to be my MOH, myself and 2 of my other BM's in my house with wine, snacks and movies. We are all essential employee's anyway and work so closely together on a daily basis we figured why not continue at home with wine and social distancing (no hugs, separate couches, etc). Virtual shower was going to be basically a Zoom meeting where everyone was going to get on and give advice, say congratulations and toast a glass to FH and myself. We were also going to play little guessing games on Zoom as well.

We did end up postponing our wedding to December so both events did get rescheduled. Bridal shower is now in October and Bachelorette the first weekend in November. I'm pretty confident we will be able to have both events and the wedding in these time frames.

My bridal shower was scheduled for May 30th. I was hopeful that things would be better up I realized that May 1st is this week!!! Like where does time go?! I postponed until August 8th. The venue canceled and I was up in the air about finding another venue just for them to cancel. So I decided to do an evening bridal shower in my moms back yard near the pond with lanterns. I’ve been on Pinterest getting inspo’s and am feeling better about it. Good luck with your planning ☺️
