Bride and maids jewelry

Kimberly, on September 5, 2021 at 6:19 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
I am starting to look for wedding jewelry! Should all of my jewelry match the rose gold of my ring? And then is it weird that my bridesmaids will have silver jewelry because they are wearing dusty blue. Will take any recommendations!

Not at all weird. Everyone can wear the same as each other, or completely different, it's very much a personal preference, and what you like the look of best!

I was planning on getting the bridesmaids all the same jewelry, because I wanted it to be the same! I was just stuck on the finish of the jewelry. My engagement ring is rose gold, so I am unsure if all my jewelry should be rose gold, and if it would clash if my bridesmaids had silver.

I don't think it would at all. I think it makes sense for theirs to match their outfits. I also think that generally, no one is going to notice, even if they had mixed colours to each other or to you, since it's a fairly small thing. That said we all have our pet peeves. For me, it's mismatched shoes. I just hate them in formal photos. So, I've bought my bridesmaids matching shoes, because it would bother me otherwise. If you feel like this about them having a different finish from you, then go with the rose gold.

Mixing metals is very common. There's actually plenty of pieces that integrate two-tone or three-tone gold. Also, your bridesmaids don't need matching jewelry either unless you REALLY want them to. I bought my bridesmaids earrings and bracelets, and I tried to pick pieces that were complementary but also matches the style of each bridesmaid. If you do all the same across the board, you are likely to give them things that they may never want to wear again.

Honestly, your bridesmaids don't even need to match jewelry. No one will pay attention that much, they're not the focus - you & your partner are

Let them wear whatever they are comfortable with. No one will notice if they match or not and they likely won’t keep them either.
