I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate one of my best friends who had me in her wedding this weekend. This woman had been through a lot with planning, and she still held on her elegance and grace through it all. At points when I thought she would have a complete mental break down she didn't and just let it roll off. Like she told me after almost not having a wedding nothing phases her now.
1. Noahs event in Louisville closed in August her wedding was in September. Luckily for her she has some amazing family that helped her front the cost of getting a new venue which was absolutely stunning. And was able to get it done in that short of notice. Her vendors all switched over except she now had to find a bartender and buy alcohol since it was included in the package with Noahs.
2. She leaves on a cruise for the bahamas today and with them getting hit by the hurricane she was totally scared that her honey moon would be canceled
3. She had a bridesmaid drop out on Monday last week and her wedding was saturday.
4. And lastly her DOC called her FH and had him relay a message to her on the big day that she 'didn't have a way to get to the wedding'
But through it all when she could of turned into a totally stressed bridezilla she never did. And she made it a wonderful time and was absolutely beautiful. I most defintely learned from her with planning my own wedding, that you should never sweat over the little things when she was able to overcome all these things that a bride should never have to deal with on her wedding day. She is a true inspiration to me not to get worked up if things don't go as planned with my wedding
congrats to the happy couple
