Bride & Bachelorette

So the bride typically doesn't host this herself. Like a bridal shower or wedding showers, someone will offer to throw a bach party for you. The bride isn't expected to pay for anything or give gifts like gift bags, but it's nice to give everyone that attended a thank you note and maybe a small gift afterwards.

I'm assuming since you said it's in a couple of weeks that someone has already offered to host it for you? If so, they should be the ones doing all of the planning, and maybe including anyone else attending.

My MOH is planning mine and is keeping it all a surprise. My ladies aren't letting me pay for everything, but I'm going to pay for drinks or dinner/brunch one day! I'm also going to write everyone that attends a nice note and probably give them each a $5 or $10 gift card that they can use on whatever. For my MOH who's hosting, I plan on taking her to get a mani/pedi one weekend that she's off!

Oh I get where you're coming from! I feel like I'm being useless lol. But don't stress! Just make sure you get an idea of what you need to wear/pack and you'll be fine! And remember to have fun with your friends!

Yep, just relax and have fun! Let others host this for you. Personally afterward I might send flowers to whomever hosted it as a thank you. I also like the mani/pedi idea.

For my bach, my 3 bridesmaids planned it together as a total surprise for me... they literally blindfolded me in the car so i wouldnt figure out where we were going. As far as paying - i split the cost of the Air BNB with everyone (we rented it for 4 days), bought the girls' a round of drinks, and i bought them some matching swag (hats and fanny packs) to wear that weekend.

My bridesmaids are very organized and sent me a packing list a couple of weeks before (just in case i needed to order any additional clothes off amazon - which i did) - so make sure to ask for that info ahead of time!

Other than that, just let all of the events happen and enjoy them!
