So my fiance and I met through church and are both worship leaders at our church. We both sing, play guitar, and play piano. We have always known that we wanted to have a worship song during our ceremony, but we are finding it incredibly difficult to pick a song that puts into words everything we want to be highlighted about the Lord. All of our guests are family and church friends, so there is no one who would be offended or uncomfortable by a time of worship during the ceremony and it is going to be very brief.
Would it be weird if we led a worship song together (one that we wrote or a compilation of two of three songs together as a medley)? This is how we met so it could be a sweet tribute to the start of our relationship and a cool way to honor the Lord as we become husband and wife.. but would it come across as weird?
